Community Outreach

At Just The Beginning Inc., our community is the heart of everything we do. 

The individuals and families we serve may have had difficult chapters in their lives, but their difficulties do not encompass the whole story of who they truly are. They are beautiful, resilient, and, through hard work and determination, they will have easier days ahead. They are worth it and their families are worth it.
Our Community Outreach program strives to provide more of those easy (and fun!) days for our community members, while giving us a chance to get to know the people we serve better.

​We teach our community members through outreach, but they also teach us.

Events such as seasonal carnivals, educational workshops, and leadership summits show our local women, men, and children just how much we appreciate them, and how valuable they are to our community.
JTB also offers Jail and Prison Ministry through twelve (12) week Boundaries classes and (8) week Relationship Goals within the Oklahoma Department Of Corrections (DOC).  We provide four (4) waves of classes per year.  JTB began implementation of a Codependency Class with the DOC curriculum in Turley, Oklahoma, in 2008 and the title was later updated to Boundaries.  ​
